The Federation of Credit and Financial Professionals facilitate and monitor industry credit groups,which offer the opportunity for credit professionals within the same industry to convene and exchange knowledge and procedures. These include:

Traditional groups, where trade group members meet periodically for face-to-face meetings to review trade credit data that is collected and delivered in a customized format on mutual customers. Group data is collected and assimilated via a proprietary online system and the meetings are directed by Smyth Groups certified facilitators.

Discussion credit groups, which meet to review specific topics, receive custom educational programs, and learn from industry leaders

Virtual credit groups, where credit data is exchanged without meetings through an Online Credit Interchange with Trade Credit Reporting

In addition, the Federation of Credit and Financial Professionals will introduce "Best Practices Groups" in 2007, which will:

• Identify areas, common to each organization, that need review due to poor performance or ongoing challenges
• Examine problem areas and identify those companies who produce excellent results
• Contribute to the development of a database of resources needed by each member to implement a best practice solution at their own company
